Useful information about Tignes

Tignes and Val d'Isere makes up the huge Espace Killy ski area. It is one of only a few resorts in ALPs classified as snow-sure and boasts a very long winter season. Additinally - summer skiing on it's glacier!

Tignes and Val d'Isere area is well known for it's good off-piste, high class half-pipe and snowboard parks.
Spread over five resort centres with Les Brevieres at the bottom being the most picturesque. Further up on the dam is Les Boisses (now renamed Tignes 1800!) then Le Lac and Lavachet which are probably the best spots for nightlife and shopping along with Val Claret at 2100m.
