Popularly known as "the glacier paradise of Matterhorn," Zermatt is located on the border between Switzerland and Italy.

Useful information about Zurich Airport - Zermatt-Tasch transfers
Zurich airport passenger terminal complex is split into different 'check ins', 'arrivals' and 'departure docks/gates'. There are 2 arrivals, but you can walk between them in a few minutes. Official Zurich airport site here

If you are traveling to Zermatt: Zermatt is a car free resort and there is no road access to the resort, so your transfer will have a drop off/pick up at the Matterhorn Terminal Tasch and from here, you catch a short train ride up to the Zermatt. The journey with train takes around 12 minutes. When you will arrive in Zermatt, you can call your hotel by using the free hotel phone at the station and they will organise an electric taxi to come and collect you. But if you are staying at a private address or your hotel doesn’t offer this service, there are also private taxis available for hire.
